09/16/2006 - Antarctica has deservedly been called the last great wilderness on Earth, home of not only majestic icy vistas but a unique animal kingdom all its own - a kingdom whose food chain rests primarily on a tiny ocean creature now facing a threat that could ripple all the way through penguins, seals, whales and on up to humans.Only prompt and strong action by the international body responsible for Antarctic species can avert the danger.
