Institutionalizing HIA in Challenging Political Contexts


This session presents efforts to institutionalize HIA and create sustainable partnerships for the consideration of health in decision‐making in three diverse settings. The discussion will include how changes in political or social context have influenced HIA capacity and implementation activities, and outlines strategies that have been met with success for continued HIA practice.
