Beyond the bright lights of Las Vegas, the Silver State has another side:  recreation and wilderness, including mountains, Lake Tahoe, and the Grand Canyon’s western tip.  The Great Recession dealt Nevada’s economy a painful blow, especially to the housing and employment sectors.  But the state is recovering.  And Nevada has great potential for wind generation, although clean energy investments trail many other states.
