Good health and a long life start with a healthy childhood.  Pew’s work on children’s dental health focuses on expanding the number of dental professionals who provide care to low-income children, increasing access to fluoridated water and ensuring that Medicaid—and other public insurance programs—translate into real dental care for children.  Pew advocates for stronger safety standards and the necessary resources to make sure that every school across the nation is serving its students food that is good for them.
