House Should Continue to Prioritize Fight Against Superbugs

On March 18, The Pew Charitable Trusts joined more than 50 organizations in asking leading members of the House of Representatives to increase federal investment in domestic and global programs to address antibiotic resistance. In a letter sent to chairs and ranking members of four House Appropriations Committee subcommittees, the organizations recommended an increase in funding for federal programs and initiatives essential to combating antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
