Francisco “Pancho” Solís Germani directs Pew’s efforts in his native Chile, where he works with partner organizations and other stakeholders to protect Patagonia, one of the world’s most pristine wilderness areas, with land and waters spanning a region as large as New Zealand.

This work includes supporting the Corporación Nacional Forestal—the Chilean Forest Service and Protected Areas Agency (CONAF), where he works to improve the management of Chilean Patagonia’s 18 national parks.
