On Dec. 15, 2021, Pew sent a letter to U.S. Senate and House of Representatives leaders thanking them for their bipartisan efforts to pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which President Joe Biden signed into law Nov. 10. The law is a once-in-a-generation investment to bridge the digital divide, improve communities’ flood readiness—and the ability of roads and bridges to withstand the growing threat of all natural hazards—and better protect America’s national parks, rivers, and wildlife migration corridors.
