Urgent Action Needed to Spur Antibiotic Innovation

The World Health Organization, The Pew Charitable Trusts, and Global AMR R&D Hub are urging policymakers and innovation stakeholders to stimulate the insufficient global antibiotic pipeline. The call to action follows analyses from the WHO and Pew released earlier this year—and compiled in a Dynamic Dashboard by Global AMR R&D Hub—that conclude there are not enough new antibiotics in clinical development to meet patient needs worldwide.
