Pew Urges Lawmakers to Support Health IT Data Sharing, Increased Safety for Rural Patients

The Pew Charitable Trusts submitted comments Nov. 27 to the Rural and Underserved Communities Health Task Force of the House Ways and Means Committee, urging it to support efforts to improve patient matching among electronic health record systems, promote the use of application programming interfaces, and advance the safe use of health IT.
