Pew Offers Insight to CFPB on Preserving Consumer Overdraft Protections

The Pew Charitable Trusts on June 28, 2019, responded to a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau request for information regarding review of the 2009 federal overdraft rule. The comment letter included a summary of Pew’s research on overdraft penalty programs and an outline of the rule’s benefits to the banking system.
