Pew Comments on Preliminary Alternatives and Areas of Critical Environmental Concern Report

The Pew Charitable Trusts on May 29, 2015, filed the following comments with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management in response to the agency’s preliminary alternatives submittal and its evaluation of Areas of Critical Environmental Concern in the Bering Sea-Western Interior Resource Management Planning process in Alaska. The letter, from Pew’s Western Lands Initiative project, offers recommendations on planning alternatives and how the agency can improve its outreach and consultation with tribal communities.
