National HIA Meeting 2013 - Breakout Session

OVERVIEW

This session will consider a partnership model of conducting HIAs that has community organizers sharing equally with HIA researchers in HIA decision‐making, research, and communications tasks. Presenters will address why this model works to achieve the values of equity, democracy, transparency, ethical use of evidence, and elevation of the voice of those impacted by decisions.
