Safe Havens for Seabirds

Forest and Bird is joining an international project to plot and protect New Zealand's most important areas for birds. By David Brooks.

Working with Birdlife International, Forest and Bird has identified the Important Bird Areas (IBAs) in New Zealand's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

The Kermadecs has been identified as one of the important areas.
