If your application is successful, the information will be used in the administration of your employment. If your application is unsuccessful, Pew may retain and use the information in a secure database which you provided on this application form for up to 2 years to deal with any matter which may arise in connection with your application, for purposes of contacting you in connection with ongoing recruitment opportunities, as well as for data analysis, general management and business purposes.
You have the option to withdraw yourself from a particular requisition at anytime. Although you may also request that your information be deleted from our database at anytime, we may have to retain certain information related to your particular application for a limited period to meet legal or records retention requirements in your country. You can update your contact details at anytime by visiting your candidate account and updating your information accordingly.
To achieve better quality in the processing and administration of applicant and employee data, Pew may enter into contracts with third parties to carry out this processing on behalf of and only according to Pew’s instructions. These third parties may provide Pew with recruitment data hosting, data processing, research, investigation, auditing, accounting, legal, business consulting, archival, banking, payment, delivery, website and/or technology services. Please also note that when data is transferred to third parties in these circumstances, these parties are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements and are required to keep your data securely.
The third parties appointed by Pew may also use their own third parties (sub-processors), who may be located outside your country or region, to carry out some of their processing. These sub-processors are also under the duty to maintain appropriate levels of security and confidentiality and only use the information as instructed.
We may also exchange your personal information with our affiliates, your representatives, referees, your current and previous employers, academic institutions, professional and trade associations and law enforcement agencies.

Street NW, Washington, DC 20004, and at other locations within the United States and around the world, and to the processing of data relating to you in connection with your application and any subsequent employment, including for legal, personnel, administrative and management purposes. Since Pew operates globally, the information you submit may be transferred outside your country of origin to PEW entities and third parties in the US, Australia, the EEA, New Zealand as well as other jurisdictions.
