In 2019, The Pew Charitable Trusts continued its commitment to supporting dynamic cultural programs and visionary local artists through The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. In this video, take a look back at some of the year’s most imaginative and ambitious performances, exhibitions, and public programs produced by the Center’s grantees and fellows, who have helped make the Philadelphia region a vital hub for arts and culture while invigorating civic life in Pew’s hometown.

The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage announced 39 grants today in support of the Philadelphia region’s cultural organizations and artists. The 2019 awards total more than $8.4 million and provide funding for 12 Pew Fellowships and 27 project grants.
