Food Safety: One Family's Battle with E. Coli

After eating spinach contaminated with E. Coli in 2006, two-year-old Kyle Allgood became sick and passed away.

In December 2010, Congress passed the landmark FDA Food Safety Modernization Act — legislation that should help prevent cases like Kyle's. But while President Obama has signed the legislation into law, the administration has not issued major proposals needed to implement it.
