Military Clean Energy Innovation

The Pentagon is accelerating its clean energy innovation to reduce risks to America's military, enhance energy security and save money, according to a report released Sept. 21, 2011, by The Pew Charitable Trusts. As one of the largest energy consumers in the world, the Department of Defense has the ability to help shape America's energy future. Their work is also helping to spur the growth of the clean energy economy.
