The Pew Charitable Trusts submitted comments March 18 to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in response to its proposed 2020-2025 Federal Health IT Strategic Plan. Among other things, the comments called for an increased focus on patient matching, improvement in how much data can be accessed via application programming interfaces, and steps to enhance the usability of electronic health records.
