Pew Recommends Ways to Strengthen USDA Studies
The agency's research helps to identify and improve understanding of antibiotic use on farms
On Feb. 19, The Pew Charitable Trusts submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Agriculture with three key recommendations to strengthen the 2020 National Animal Health Monitoring System Feedlot Studies.
These studies are a valuable source of nationally representative data on animal health and management as well as antibiotic stewardship practices and offer important insights into the U.S. animal agricultural industries.
