Pew Urges Health IT Agency to Expand Data Elements Standards

The Pew Charitable Trusts sent a letter Sept. 23 to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, urging the agency to include additional data elements and standards in its Interoperability Standards Advisory, a guide that technology developers can use to help improve the sharing of patients’ medical information between electronic health record systems.
