Pew Endorses Use of Risk Assessments in State and Local Planning

On July 18, Pew submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in support of the agency’s proposal to include assessments of current and future natural hazard risks, such as flooding, in its consolidated planning process, which helps communities identify their development needs.
