Pew Offers Recommendations to Congress to Improve End-of-Life Care

On June 23, The Pew Charitable Trusts submitted a statement for the record to the Senate Special Committee on Aging after its hearing on “The Right Care at the Right Time: Ensuring Person-Centered Care for Individuals With Serious Illness.”   

Pew’s statement calls on Congress to pass bipartisan legislation that would increase access to advance care planning, implement quality metrics for palliative and end-of-life care, and support promising end-of-life care delivery models.
