In the months leading up to this study, a growing number of countries, including the U.S., had committed to facilitating remittance transfers by immigrants who send money back to their home countries. This report offers a detailed assessment of the marketplace for remittance transfer services between the U.S. and Latin America. Findings are based on one of the most extensive examination of the U.S. remittance transfer industry ever conducted.
