This report addresses how well the United States' fishery management laws, institutions and policies are working to protect the nation's living marine resources, and makes recommendations for their reform. Unlike the other Commission-sponsored reports, this publication consists of several short papers from a number of authores. These authors bring a wide range of experience and expertise and provide the Commission and other interested parties with a wealth of insightful and diverse views.
