The Pew Environment Group is leading an effort to get the South Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico fishery management councils and the National Marine Fisheries Service to establish science-based annual catch limits to end overfishing for these species by January 2010. Our campaign seeks the implementation of new requirements in federal fisheries law that all for an end to overfishing nationwide by that date.
