The Health and Human Services (HHS) national program of The Pew Charitable Trusts seeks to improve the health and well-being of the American public by applying the power of knowledge to challenging issues facing society as well as by supporting cutting-edge biomedical research. Since 1948, Pew has invested more than $500 million in efforts designed to create meaningful and measurable change in people's lives. Pew's national HHS portfolio includes a variety of projects in public health and human services, and science and technology. Among its activities, HHS supports family financial services through a number of efforts.
