On February 26, 2007, the City of Philadelphia announced the completion of a groundbreaking laser conservation project to enhance and preserve Alexander Milne Calder's eight monumental bronze sculptures on City Hall's tower. The work is part of a larger, groundbreaking effort to restore the exterior of City Hall.
