This panel considers the prospects for using HIA to inform state decision making around energy use in the United States. It does so as part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Weatherization Plus Health initiative, being implemented by the National Association for State Community Services Programs, which provides training and technical support for the network of state, territorial, and tribal low‐income Weatherization Assistance Programs, as well as the community action agencies, community development corporations, offices on aging, and other nonprofits that deliver weatherization services.
