This session will discuss the processes and outcomes of three policy HIAs that target health inequities: funding for public schools in Oakland, CA; school discipline policies in Los Angeles, CA; and Wisconsin state funding for treatment alternatives to prison. Presenters will discuss key findings of their HIA, stakeholders involved, challenges to including HIA in the policy process and outcomes of the HIAs.
