At the Annual New Partners for Smart Growth Conference, a panel presentation and discussion on health impact assessment focused on local, state and national perspectives for implementing HIA. The event, hosted this year in Charlotte, North Carolina, also included an HIA networking reception. And, the Active Living Research Annual Conference included a training, roundtable discussion and presentation on HIA. Project manager Kara Vonasek presented and facilitated HIA-focused discussions at the meetings.
