In written testimony submitted for the Nov. 18 hearing of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources Subcommittee on Public Lands, Forests, and Mining, The Pew Charitable Trusts expressed support for legislation to safeguard public lands and rivers in Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oregon. The bills have the backing of local businesses, Indigenous tribes, recreation organizations, veterans and sporting groups, and other stakeholders.
