PROFILE

Anthony Vitelli is vice president for information technology and chief information officer at The Pew Charitable Trusts. He oversees a portfolio that includes strategy, cybersecurity, and the operation of technologies that support Pew’s various programs and efforts across the globe.

Vitelli has more than 30 years of experience in many areas of technology, having worked in the higher education, transportation, energy, software development, and retail sectors. Prior to joining Pew in December 2011, he held positions at Georgetown University and Sunoco. Vitelli also worked as a consultant to Amtrak.

Vitelli holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Georgetown University.
