PROFILE

Gina Fiore leads Pew’s efforts on beneficial ownership and financial transparency in the fisheries industry. She also manages work related to the convergence of illegal fishing, criminal activity and maritime security and acts as a liaison between Pew and the military and national security communities.

Before joining Pew, Fiore worked for consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, managing illegal fishing and information-sharing projects for its client, the U.S. Navy. She was also a staff officer with the U.S. Department of Defense.

Fiore holds bachelor’s degrees in history and political science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and master’s degrees in history and political science from the New School for Social Research.
