Rea Holmes
PROFILE
Rea Holmes is vice president for legal affairs at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she oversees legal matters related to Pew’s programmatic work as well as to the internal team supporting Pew’s board of directors. Previously a director and senior counsel at Pew, Holmes worked closely with Pew’s programmatic teams during a period of growth and expansion, including new partnerships and collaborations.
Before joining Pew, Holmes practiced law at the firms of Trister, Ross, Schadler & Gold and Godfrey & Kahn. She also served as the assistant deputy secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and worked for the office of former U.S. Senator Russell D. Feingold (D-WI).
Holmes holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. She is a member of the bar in Washington, D.C., and in Wisconsin.
