Margaret Arnesen
PROFILE
Margaret Arnesen helps ensure the success of Pew’s public health data improvement project, which supports efforts to enable the rapid and effective use of health care data to advance Americans’ well-being. Her work focuses on state-level policy solutions to make this data sharing easier and more effective.
Prior to joining Pew, Arnesen worked as a policy and program manager for the Pennsylvania Department of Health, where she developed and managed public health programs for the prevention of chronic disease, with a particular focus on increasing health equity and access to care for disparate populations.
Arnesen holds a bachelor’s degree in classical and Near Eastern archaeology and classical studies from Bryn Mawr College and is pursuing a master’s in public administration and policy at American University.
