PROFILE

Sara Dube directs the Fiscal 50 project and the managing fiscal risks initiative for The Pew Charitable Trusts. These projects examine key trends in state finances and help policymakers develop and adopt evidence-based strategies that strengthen the finances of state and local governments.

Before joining Pew, Dube managed evaluation and planning projects for nonprofit and philanthropic clients, including the Advancement Project, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. She began her career coordinating a hospital-based volunteer program and serving as an AmeriCorps member with Jumpstart, an early education nonprofit organization in Boston.

Dube holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Tufts University and a master’s in public policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
