Tim Nicol
PROFILE
Tim Nicol leads Pew’s program work across Australia’s terrestrial landmass. Working with individual campaign managers, Nicol oversees Pew’s Indigenous land management, pastoral and Outback conservation campaigns.
Before joining Pew, Nicol was the coordinator and media spokesman for the Save Our Marine Life alliance, which helped establish the country’s first network of marine parks and sanctuaries. Previously, he was the resources liaison officer for the Conservation Council of Western Australia. He began his career as an ocean engineer working in offshore construction and design.
Nicol has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Australian Maritime College and lives in Perth.
