More about Pew

We’re a driven team of researchers, communicators, advocates, subject matter experts, and other professionals working on today’s big challenges—and we know we’re more effective and creative collectively than we are individually. We provide trusted information that grounds public discourse and illuminates issues that matter. Our work focuses on strengthening democracy, conserving the environment, and building the civic infrastructure that helps people and communities thrive.

In all that we do, we’re nonpartisan, innovative, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to serving the public.

Why work at Pew?

  1. Meaningful mission: By joining Pew, you’ll become part of an organization that strives to serve the public good by advancing ambitious projects that lead to tangible progress.

  5. Overall well-being: We recognize the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Pew prioritizes employee wellness and offers competitive benefits to support our staff. We also promote a hybrid work environment, offering a balance of remote and in-person time, which we’ve found leads to stronger relationships, innovation, and a welcoming culture.

The two in-office days each week give us space to create the connections that lead to trusting relationships, innovation, and a welcoming culture. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We know that in America and around the globe, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, women, people of faith, and others have been discriminated against and disadvantaged. The multitude of perspectives offered by our staff and our partners has always been integral to our work, but today we must be more intentional in our efforts to focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as core elements of our operations and culture.
