KerriLynn Miller leads Pew’s work focused on reducing bycatch and exploring protections of nursery and spawning habitats for species impacted by international fisheries. She previously worked on other international marine initiatives at Pew, including highlighting the global plight of sharks from overfishing and protecting ocean life on the high seas.

Before joining Pew, Miller worked on science and policy issues related to fisheries and marine wildlife at Oceana.

Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Delaware and a master’s in environmental management, with a concentration in coastal environmental management, from Duke University.
