The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance 2006 Portfolio

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance 2006 Portfolio

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance 2006 Portfolio offers an unprecedented and in-depth look at the scope of the local nonprofit cultural sector. Based on confidential and detailed information from 218 local arts organizations, the report is the first comprehensive look at a sector that provides 14,000 jobs and 17,000 volunteer positions.

Portfolio sets out to document the breadth, diversity, and well-being of Southeastern Pennsylvania's nonprofit cultural resources. The process of examining this sector began five years ago with the formation of the Pennsylvania Cultural Data Project (PACDP), a partnership of grantmakers and service organizations interested in creating a series of common and reliable measures for cultural organizations.
