This project explored how a coordinated regional transit system might impact health disparities in the Central Oregon counties of Deschutes, Jefferson, and Crook.  The HIA focused on impacts to health through opportunities for physical activity and access to healthy foods, health care services, and employment, as well as safety.

Outcome

Commute Options presented at a meeting of the Central Oregon Area Commission on Transportation in July 2012.
