These scientists have made great strides, earning Nobel Prizes, Lasker Awards, MacArthur Genius Awards and other distinctions. Their fields of study range from Ann Morris' vision research to Erica Larschan's studies of the X-chromosome to Carol Greider's Nobel Prize-winning work on the enyzme telomerase.
