Sara Lepore Dube directs the results first initiative at The Pew Charitable Trusts and helps state and local governments cultivate a climate for evidence-based decision-making in order to invest in programs that generate the best outcomes and make the most of limited taxpayer resources.
Karen Lyons is a senior manager for tool development for the results first initiative, overseeing resources that make evidence accessible and useful to policymakers. Before joining Pew in 2013, Lyons worked as an associate regional economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, a senior economist with the Virginia Department of Taxation, and a policy analyst for the D.C. government. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in public affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
