Linda Bartlett, senior vice president and chief financial officer, leads Pew’s finance, accounting, and information technology teams. She is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s finances in support of its values and mission, including the investment portfolio, which sustains the Trusts’ global work, and for the oversight of expenditures to achieve institutional and policy goals.

Bartlett began her career at the firm now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was a practicing certified public accountant, and she has since held senior leadership positions in finance, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and asset management at major corporations, including Marriott International, Intelsat, and Prudential Home Mortgage. While at Marriott, she completed hotel acquisitions and negotiated leases for large commercial properties; served as chief financial officer of the international lodging and vacation ownership (time share) businesses; and was the company’s senior vice president and corporate controller/chief accounting officer, with responsibility for the financial planning and analysis team. During her tenure at Intelsat, she served as senior vice president–finance and was responsible for the accounting, shared business services, credit, planning, and corporate development functions. She also played a leading role in the company’s April 2013 initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange.

Bartlett holds a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and a master of science degree in finance from Loyola University Maryland, where she served for three years on the board of sponsors of the Sellinger School of Business.
