On May 19, the Health Impact Project hosted a Web Conference on the screening step of the health impact assessment (HIA) process.
The meeting included a brief introduction to HIA and the project, then focused on defining an appropriate decision-making target for HIA. Through several examples, participants learned the key factors in determining whether an HIA is feasible and would add value to the decision-making process.
