Research
Do different cortical sites within sensory regions “bind” features of a complex scene using coherent neural activity? One popular idea is that the integration of features in a complex scene occurs within a primary sensory cortical region through the interactions between different sites- i.e., feature-binding through neuronal coherence. We are investigating the representation of complex natural scenes in the primary auditory (A1) cortex.
