TN: More than 200,000 Tennessee kids faced loss of health insurance because of paperwork problems
At least 220,000 children were cut, or slated to be cut, from state health insurance in recent years in a Medicaid system that was dependent on hard-copy forms and postal mail, a Tennessean investigation found. The majority likely lost their coverage over late, incomplete or unreturned eligibility forms.
