Courtney Durham

PROFILE

Courtney Durham leads Pew’s engagement in the United Nations negotiations on climate change and supports efforts to incorporate and strengthen climate considerations in Pew’s conservation projects. Durham’s previous work at Pew included authoring or coauthoring numerous articles on protecting coastal wetlands and coral reefs in Central America and finding nature-based solutions to rebuild economies after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before joining Pew in 2019, she worked on global climate policy with World Resources Institute, the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy, and the German Development Corp. (GIZ).

Durham holds a Bachelor of Arts in international studies and Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in environmental management from Yale University.
