On Nov. 17, 2015, The Pew Charitable Trusts submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regarding its implementation of the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). The comments support the creation of MIPS and outline how it is a key opportunity to improve end-of-life and palliative care.
