Sunnydale Public Housing Redevelopment
Location San Francisco California
Organization San Francisco Department of Public Health

The San Francisco Department of Public Health undertook a health impact assessment (HIA) to provide information on the planning of a public housing redevelopment. The effort was part of an initiative to link housing and public health goals in the San Francisco area. Other similar HIAs—addressing redevelopment of Potrero and Westside Courts public housing sites— focused on issues such as housing affordability and access to transit and jobs.
